Kabbalah's body polisher, gulal .01, uses uncut oatmeal and raw sugar to polish the skin, leaving it smoothened and buffed with a radiant, soft finish.

What Is A Body Polisher?
Body polishers are physical exfoliants that mechanically slough away dead skin cells. The feel of a “scrub” typically comes from a combination of sugar, oatmeal or salt that is suspended in a foaming bath butter in combination with an oil base. While some polishers (particularly of the DIY variety) contain coarse salt and sugar particles, higher-quality varieties are formulated with fine, premium particles that polish skin without being abrasive.

Body Polisher Benefits:
The skin is in a constant state of turnover: Dead skin rises to the surface, sheds naturally and reveals the baby soft skin underneath. This process slows over time, contributing to a buildup of dead cells on the skin’s surface. Add pollution and other forms of environmental stress to the mix, and you have a recipe for dull, rough and itchy skin.

As with all exfoliants, the goal of a body polisher is to remove dead skin cells and encourage the healthy production of new ones. This type of mechanical exfoliation not only smooths and polishes the skin but also draws out impurities.

- Promoting efficient circulation and skin cell turnover.
- Helps remove dead cells from the skin’s surface.
- Smoothing and softening rough, dry skin
- Drawing out impurities and clearing congestion
- Freeing blackheads, ingrown hairs and smoothing razor bumps.

Skin care without compromising Mother Earth:
At Kabbalah, we have committed ourselves to honour two decisions that we made at the time of our conception: a commitment to our skin and a commitment to our planet. All our products are free of artificial fragrances, dyes, parabens, petrochemicals, GMO, animal testing. We want to leave the planet at the best condition we can for our following generations.  Below are a few reasons why our natural body bars, cleansers, body polishers, bath salts and milk bath are not harmful for our beautiful planet.

When plant-based ingredients or naturally occurring ingredients in the earth are used, like cocoa, coconut, oranges, sandalwood, coffee, steel- cut oats, raw sugar, you are not altering, destroying or polluting the environment. Unlike lab-made chemicals, these ingredients come from nature and return to nature. The ‘waste’ products that are left behind after the consumption of the interior matter, like coconut husks, are biodegradable and can return to the earth. And by using organic ingredients in our natural body products, we are supporting people who farm sustainably and without pesticides.

No Parabens or Petrochemicals:
Petrochemicals, used in many conventional skincare products, eventually find their way into the sea and soil. The breakdown of these chemicals contributes to a build-up that ultimately harms wildlife and sea life. Petrochemicals are everywhere, we can not avoid them entirely in our lives, but by using naturally made skin care products we are eliminating one more source.

Parabens are a preservative rampant in cosmetics and skincare, used to give products a longer shelf life. Parabens are an especially harmful chemical and have been linked to coral bleaching, hormone imbalances and the disruption of ecosystems.

By avoiding petrochemicals and parabens, we are providing humans with ways to care for their skin without harming or putting our planet in harm's way.

No Microbeads:
Microbeads are essentially tiny plastic beads used in some skin care products for their exfoliating properties. So small are microbeads that they have found their way into our seas by the millions and are now being found in the bodies of fish and other sea creatures.

This is harmful to the sea, and it’s harmful to the humans who end up eating these plastic-filled fish. We are stoked to see that microbeads are finally being recognised for their harm and banned from many countries. What’s crazy to us is that this could all have been avoided by making use of naturally exfoliating ingredients – like walnut shells, cane sugar, oatmeal or coffee.

Every single product that we make is made with a commitment to and appreciation for Mother Earth. Our body polishers have been carefully designed without the use of any harmful material.

Methods to use:
body polisher can be used once or twice a week in bath or shower. Make sure your body is thoroughly wet by allowing the water to run for 5-10 minutes to soften the skin, cover your body with adequate about of scrub. Massage it gently into your skin by moving in circular motions, start at your feet and move upwards towards your heart to enhance blood circulation. Maintain the gentle pressure and do not scrub very hard. Rinse off and pat your body dry with a towel, as a tip from our end, we recommend leaving a little moisture on your skin and do not rub or dry your skin completely. Now follow up by applying any of the Kabbalah's body butters.
Ingredients: kabbalah foaming bath butter / avocado oil / beet root / lemon zest / gram flour (besan) / sandalwood (chandan) / walnut shell / oatmeal / pure cane sugar / unrefined sugar / phenoxyethanol / essential oil.

Avocado Oil: Rich and moisturising to dry skin. The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E found in this oil help moisturise and protect skin from damaging UV rays.

Beetroot: Beetroot being beneficial to the skin is likely attributed to its vitamin C content. Some of these beneficial properties include anti- ageing, acne treatment, skin brightening, anti- oxidant and anti- inflammatory.

Lemon Zest: Thanks to citric acid, lemon zests are hugely beneficial for the treatment of acne. It is a very useful and organic way of keeping your body smelling fresh and clean.

Gram Flour (Besan): Helps fight infections that cause acne. Helps remove tan, exfoliates dead skin.

Pure Cane Sugar: It contains glycolic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps in the removal of dead skin cells and makes way for healthier newer ones. This acid is the smallest hydroxyl acid molecule, thus helping it penetrate the deepest and fastest, this helps it in becoming one of the most effective agents at stimulating collagen and thus helping reduce wrinkles. Sugar can be a great exfoliator.

Unrefined Sugar: Being a natural humectant and anti- oxidant, unrefined sugar absorbs moisture from the environment and binds it to your skin, keeping it plump and hydrated. Sugar can be a great exfoliator.
